I always had a natural interest and ability to be expressive through a variety of artistic outlets, so it was no surprise that I would spend two decades building a career in sales and marketing with an emphasis on content production. However, it was when I discovered my passion for extreme / adventure sports – most notably skydiving – that I began to see art, especially the mediums of video and photography, as being an essential means of communicating a compelling story.
With the rapid expansion of e-commerce and the growing importance of social media, I also learned that creating memorable content is more than taking a great photo or editing a flashy video, but also having the curiosity it takes to adapt and remain relevant, and more importantly, having a firm understanding of the modern tools and platforms we use to deliver our content to consumers.
